Rev. Dr. James Mbotela Syomuti, ThD, DD, PhD, is a Kenyan citizen and he lives in Kitui County, near Kitui Town. So, life is vanity. Life itself has more packages of problems than solutions to offer. Man, there you are. Be ready to have your share before you call it a day! You got

married to this woman who was once the future wife of your dream. During your sweet and early days of your courtship, you perceived her as your angel. You never imagined that she could be concealing certain unpalatable traits from you. But now, there you are, completely disillusioned. This woman has become a real headache to you. She no longer respects you as she

used to, during your early days of marriage. She treats you like a boy. One thing which startles you most is that in the course of time, you have learnt the bitter and irreversible truth that your wife’s mother was a witch. It now therefore goes without saying that your wife is also a witch. She has

practiced deep sorcery in the city and many people have fallen victims of her evil practices. You have seen some of your wife’s operations and conduct and you are now fully convinced that she is a witch. However, there isn’t much you can do to change this sorry and unfortunate situation. You cannot confront her boldly and tell her that you are aware that she practices

sorcery because you fear being rebuked by her. Besides, you cannot prove to your wife that she is a witch because you don’t have any tangible evidence. You have

heard many complaints from different people. Many of them are your close associates and you know that they are sincere about what they say concerning your

wife. This hurts and it disturbs you greatly. This is a problem which is beyond your control. There isn’t much that you can do to solve it. You are worried and disturbed. As a result of what you have seen and

what you have heard, you have developed high blood pressure in your body. Your blood sugar level has also risen and your health is at stake. These days you have become a weakling and people wonder what has happened to you.

You have real problems concerning the woman that you got married to, but you cannot go publicizing it. Men rarely disclose the problems which their wives cause to them. Perhaps that is the reason why sometimes they die earlier than women because they confine a lot of pressure within them, unlike women who can cry and talk freely about issues which disturb them.

Okay now, man, you have moved from the frying pan to the fire. So far, you have received true reports about your wife’s infidelity. She has been having affairs with other men. She has become quite promiscuous because she moves with marriedand unmarried men. Her promiscuity is disturbing and it is actually a big problem. You don’t know what to do. Your sons and daughters are also aware that their

mother has become unfaithful to you. God forbid. What is the way forward now, from this quagmire and predicament?

SLEEPLESS NIGHTS

You who think you can make my life miserable by deliberately conspiring with my spouse, I will still get you. Don’t think that you can cause so much pain and havoc

to my family and just run away with it so dramatically and scot free. You have made me go through a real ordeal. Many are the days that I have had sleepless nights. My thoughts disturb me. This life is futile and deceptive. It is full of ups

and downs. I say, who can teach me how to tame life? Who can show me the best formula which I can follow and adopt in order to live happily? You life, you are so unfair and quite mysterious. My days of groaning are more than the days of rejoicing. Why do I always seem to be a victim of time and circumstances? Why do I always

find myself swimming against the current of this unpredictable life?

Come what may, but I will still get you. You think you are so smart upstairs such that you can dodge and outwit me. You have been a real headache in my life. Just

because you are the people’s hero who has been the talk of the day, you have purposed to destroy the families of weak people like me.

Then you go everywhere bragging about your incomparable power and influence. You think by being wealthy and influential you have the right to cause irreparable rifts between husbands and their wives. Many families around here have been broken and their initial glory has completely faded. You have caused a lot of lamentation and groaning within and without. So far, nobody can sincerely fathom the extent of the real damage that you have done. Woe to you the conspirator and the adulterer. You have taken the advantage of your social status to oppress and offend the less fortunate people. Woe to you who have been destroying and causing a lot of treachery to so many innocent and helpless people. You laugh and make merry when other men are crying.

YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED

You have even caused premature deaths to some men whose wives you have been preying on! Woe to you the untouchable destroyer because your days are numbered. You will not escape from the imminent calamity which is now looming. A time is coming when you will also groan painfully just like the other men who have fallen victims of your evil deeds to their wives. All your allies and your great

opulence will not help you. You will come down tumbling and yelling pathetically and nobody will be able to rescue you. All those who knew you and praised you for your extreme wickedness will be nowhere to support or sympathize with you. Your arrogance andstubbornness will be your undoing. I know you don’t care about what I say because of your pride and self conceit. Definitely, I know very well that you regard me as an insane fellow. I know that

deep in the chambers of your heart you refer to me as a damn soliloquist and an unfortunate fellow. I don’t care what you think and say about me. I don’t care what

you do and your position in our society. I don’t care about your fame and achievements. After all, you don’t add any value to my life and I have nothing to lose or gain from you.

I WILL GET YOU

I swear you will not run away with it. I am completely enraged because of you. I will not relent until I see your downfall. I will not be cowed by any external force

or pressure until I make sure that you pay dearly for the families you have destroyed. I will pursue you every where. It doesn’t matter how long it will take me before I get you.

Rest assured that nothing will hinder me from getting you. Your days are numbered. You will gnash your teeth and snarl like a dog. Then you will wake up to the reality that you were only an ordinary man. It will occur to you that there was nothing special about you. It will be your turn now, to swallow the bitter pills you dispensed to the other people. Then those who knew you and associated with you during the era of your evil practices will be appalled and they will clap their hands in disbelief. Some of them

will try to sympathize with you but it will only be a futile attempt. You will now be at the verge of your ruin. You will not be able to reverse anything. It will be too late for you to change the situation. Every circumstance will be against you. The people whose families you destroyed so mercilessly and as well as their sympathizers will gather together and come to see you, as you writhe in agony in your deathbed. They will see you in that

helpless state of your last hour and say;

Look at this man who made many of us cry. Come and see him in his final state of desperation. Surely, this is the man who masterminded the destruction of many families. But now he is very weak and unable to do anything for himself. He is

groping for his way out even during day time, like a blind man. His wealth and allies cannot help him now. He is in a sorry state and bidding goodbye to this side of life, as he prepares himself to depart for his next destination. Man, come and see this fellow who shook the world. Listen to his inaudible words. Look at the way he is beckoning his imaginary friends. There you are now. You trusted your wealth and your friends. But now, you cannot get any help from friends and your enormous wealth.Your time has come and your destiny is quite evident. You are kicking in vain and in pain as you recall and relive the irreversible life. Bygones cannot be retrieved. Surely, when the wicked perish, the people rejoice.
